Often, yes. New limited companies are genuinely considered. Commercial underwriting looks at the business, its directors and what it can afford, so you do not need years of filed accounts. Every application is assessed on its own facts, and we will tell you if we cannot help. ### Can my business reclaim the VAT on a van lease? If your business is VAT-registered, the VAT on van rentals is normally recoverable in full where the van is used for business. Cars are treated differently and recovery is usually restricted.
