Is FleetMe part of APC Overnight?
FleetMe is a vehicle leasing company. We are not connected to, endorsed by or a supplier to APC Overnight, and we do not speak for them. Their vehicle requirements, rates and contract terms are theirs to set, so check those with APC Overnight directly.

An overnight network runs to a timetable. The vehicle covers a set distance between depots at the same time every night, week in and week out, which makes the annual mileage easy to predict and uncomfortably large once you add it up.

Predictable and high is a different problem to unpredictable

Most businesses guessing at mileage are worried about getting the number wrong. On scheduled trunking the number is easy: the distance between depots, times the nights worked. The difficulty is that the answer is often thirty or forty thousand miles a year, well past the bands a standard quote assumes. Declare it anyway. A quote built on a realistic high figure is one you can live with, and a quote built on a comfortable low figure simply moves the money to an excess charge you pay later at a fixed rate.

Night running and what the vehicle needs

A van worked through the night is a different specification conversation to a day vehicle. Lighting matters more, both for the driver on unlit roads and around the vehicle when loading at a depot. So does anything that reduces fatigue on a long steady leg. Security is a night question too, because a loaded vehicle standing at a depot or outside a driver's house is a different risk from one emptied by five o'clock. Tell us where the van sleeps and we can talk about what that means for the specification and for your insurer.

High mileage shortens the sensible term

A vehicle covering thirty five thousand miles a year reaches a hundred thousand inside three years. Past that point maintenance costs climb and the vehicle spends more time off the road, which on a scheduled network is the thing that really costs you. The arithmetic often favours a shorter agreement and a more frequent replacement cycle, keeping the fleet in its cheap years. It looks more expensive per month and frequently is not across the life of the operation. We will price both shapes and put the two figures side by side.

What underwriting looks at

A lease of up to 12 months is a longer commitment than a short-term hire, and underwriting looks at the business, its directors and whether the monthly rental is comfortably affordable, not at the round you have been offered. A courier company with a clean payment record behind it gets the most straightforward answer. None of that is a promise of approval, and we will tell you quickly if we cannot help.

The vans we supply for this work

Small, medium and large. Which one fits depends on the round (drop density, parcel size and where you are loading) and that is a conversation, not a filter. Every figure is read from our rate sheet.

Prices are guide figures ex VAT, pictures are illustrations, and nothing here is stock standing on a forecourt. What that means →

How to read these listings

Prices: Monthly rentals shown are guide prices and exclude VAT unless labelled otherwise. They are indicative “from” figures quoted against a 12-month term at the mileage allowance shown for the vehicle, and they move with the exact variant, the mileage, the initial rental and the outcome of underwriting. Last reviewed 1 September 2026. We confirm your actual monthly rental, and what it includes, in writing before anything is agreed.

Images: Vehicle images are computer-generated illustrations of a representative example, not photographs of the vehicle supplied. Exact trim, colour, body length, roof height and equipment vary by specification.

Availability: Listings show the vehicles we can supply, not stock held on site. Specific variants, trim levels, body conversions and delivery dates depend on factory lead times and availability at the time you order, and some vehicles are build-to-order. Nothing is reserved for your business until we confirm it in writing. If we cannot get the exact vehicle you have asked for, we will tell you and set out the closest alternative we can. Delivery is to business addresses in England and Wales, and we confirm the arrangements, the timing and any delivery cost on your quote.

Delivering as a self-employed driver?

You are covered. We supply sole traders too, over terms up to 12 months. You do not need to incorporate first and you do not need filed accounts.

Worth checking before you enquire: the allowance is 2,000 miles a month. Multi-drop rounds often run well past that, and mileage over the allowance is charged, so tell us your weekly mileage and we will be straight with you about whether it works.

What does the round need?

Vehicle type
Can you supply any make or model?

The vehicles on our stock list are the ones we hold a rate for, so they are the quickest to quote. Anything else we source to order, which takes longer and is priced individually, so ask and we will tell you what it costs. Every figure on this site is a guide price: availability and factory lead times move, and we confirm the exact vehicle, term, mileage and monthly rental in writing before anything is agreed. If we cannot get what you have asked for, we will say so.

Common questions

Is FleetMe connected to APC Overnight?

No. We are not connected to, endorsed by or a supplier to APC Overnight. We lease vans to courier companies whoever they work with, and their requirements are theirs to confirm with you.

Can you quote mileage bands above the usual maximum?

Yes. Tell us the real annual figure even when it is high and we will quote against it. A high band priced honestly at the start costs less than a low band plus an excess charge across the term.

Is a shorter term really cheaper on high mileage?

Often, once you count maintenance and downtime rather than the monthly rental alone. It depends on the vehicle and the figures, which is why we price both shapes rather than assuming the longest term is the best value.

Can a self-employed driver lease for overnight work?

No. Business contract hire is for limited companies and LLPs. As an individual or sole trader the product is vehicle hire of up to 12 months.
